The singer was shot by Lieutenant Commander Steve McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin) during a stand-off on a bus.
Then, his identity was revealed as his balaclava was pulled off his head.
Lachey made a guest appearance on the remake of Hawaii Five-O alongside fiancée Vanessa Minnillo.
Minnillo played a ship worker who survived a kidnapping attempt by pirates.
But when the Hawaii Five-O police team investigated the incident they discovered that Minnillo and Lachey, who played her on-screen boyfriend, were in on the plot.
While Lachey ended the episode sprawled on the floor of a bus, his fiancée was led off in handcuffs.
