It's now being reported that the gun used by the suspect in the killing of two US-airmen at Frankfurt airport this week, jammed preventing an even greater loss of life.
A German investigator said on Friday that 21-year-old Arid Uka, from Kosovo, had told authorities, that he had gone to the airport on Wednesday specifically to kill Americans.
The gunman claimed his actions were revenge for the US mission in Afghanistan. He has confessed to firing at the soldiers at point-blank range. He has been charged with murder and attempted murder.
