Spurs rout the reeling Heat, 125-95



Miami loses for the fourth time in five games, and the 30-point margin of defeat is its largest this season. San Antonio improves the NBA's best record to 51-11.
Manu Ginobili scored 20 points, Tony Parker made a surprise return to the starting lineup and the San Antonio Spurs handed the skidding Miami Heat its most lopsided loss of the season, 125-95, Friday night in San Antonio.
In the first meeting between these NBA heavyweights, the Spurs improved the league's best record to 51-11 and kept the Heat in a tailspin. A night after blowing a 24-point lead in a stunning loss to Orlando, Miami trailed by 24 after just one quarter and lost for the fourth time in five games.
Parker had 15 points and eight assists in 23 minutes. He returned less than a week after the Spurs feared their point guard might miss up to a month with a strained calf.
LeBron James scored 26 points for Miami, which returns home for another difficult matchup Sunday, against Chicago.
Cleveland 119, at New York 115: Former Clipper Baron Davis scored 18 points in his Cavaliers debut, leading a stunning rally in the fourth quarter as Cleveland beat the Knicks for the 11th straight time. The Cavaliers, whose 12-49 record is the NBA's worst, are 3-0 against New York this season.
Chicago 89, at Orlando 81: Derrick Rose scored 24 points and the Bulls won for the eighth time in 10 games. The Magic's win streak ended at four games.
New Jersey 116, Toronto 103: Brook Lopez scored 25 points and the Nets ended a six-game skid, beating the Raptors at London's O2 Arena in the first regular-season NBA game played in Europe.
at Dallas 116, Indiana 108: Dirk Nowitzki scored 29 points, and the Mavericks won their eighth in a row.
at Boston 107, Golden State 103: Ray Allen scored 27 points and pulled down a key offensive rebound with 12 seconds left for the Celtics. Monta Ellis scored 41 points for the Warriors.
Oklahoma City 111, at Atlanta 104: Kevin Durant scored 29 points despite a sore ankle and Russell Westbrook had 28, including a clinching three-pointer, for the Thunder.
at Philadelphia 111, Minnesota 100: Andre Iguodala had 22 points, 13 assists and 10 rebounds for the 76ers. The Timberwolves' Kevin Love had 21 points and 23 rebounds, his 49th consecutive double-double and his 10th 20-20 game this season
New Orleans 98, at Memphis 91: Chris Paul had 23 points and 14 assists for the Hornets, who snapped a three-game skid.
Phoenix 102, at Milwaukee 88: Channing Frye scored 20 points for the Suns, who had a 19-0 third-quarter run.
