There’s been a few false starts for the white iPhone 4. If you made the joke, “Verizon will have the iPhone 4 before the white one becomes available,” then you can pat yourself on the back for an accurate prediction. However, it’s look like the white iPhone 4 isn’t too far behind the launch of the CDMA version on Big Red.
Place markers for the device have reportedly been spotted on shelves at both Best Buy and the Source. Images sent to Engadget show that Best Buy will be charging $599 for the unlocked version of the white iPhone -- the same price as the already available black iPhone 4 -- and the Source will be selling the white iPhone 4 to Canadians for $159.95.
Still no word on a specific release date, but it cannot be long now.
