Here is the good news for the Miami Heat. It could not get any worse.
Could it?
The Chicago Bulls dealt Miami such a humiliating defeat Sunday in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals that it brought a smile to every Heat hater who has been hoping for this day since LeBron James sat down on national television in a Boys and Girls Club.
All of them had to be grinning as the Chicago crowd screamed "overrated" at the end of the game.
You would have to believe the only way for Miami to go is up. There isn't much more down.
The Bulls had a 19-6 margin on the offensive boards, hit 10, 3s and the league's No. 1 defense held James and Dwayne Wade to 12-for-32 from the field.
While Chris Bosh had 30 points for Miami, Chicago had 10 players score including 28 from Derrick Rose and 21 from Luol Deng.
"You play defense. You play defense hard and the shot goes up and they get an offensive rebound, kick it out for a three or get a layup or a dunk," James said. "Those are demoralizing for a defensive team. We've got to figure out a way to clean that up."
Game 2, also in Chicago, is Wednesday. Will the Bulls continue to dominate the series or will the Heat be able to clean up their act?
