An unmanned U.S. plane crashed Saturday in tribal region of northwest Pakistan near the border with Afghanistan, an official source announced.Unmanned aircraft crashed in mountainous Mishihel, about 30 kilometers west of Miranshah, the main town in the Waziristan region (north), often the target of strikes against the Taliban, said military officials.
"An unmanned U.S. plane crashed, apparently because of technical problems," said a military official in Peshawar. The incident was confirmed by authorities in the region.
