Charlie Sheen Thanks Fans, CBS For Support

Charlie Sheen, actor on the television show Two and a Half Men, recently thanked his fans, co-stars and the network CBS for their support of his recent admittance into rehab.
Sheen voluntarily checked into rehab last week, after much prodding from studio executives, following a recent hospitalization during a party. The actor’s secretary called an ambulance to his Los Angeles residence after he became very intoxicated and told his secretary that he was in a lot of pain. The attending physician gave a statement about Sheen’s state of being upon hospitalization, and that he had previously asked his secretary not to call anyone.
The Associated Press says that CBS reported the speculation that Sheen’s absence could cost the network millions of dollars during his hiatus is completely false, and that the network schedule is “strong and deep with hit series,” and that the actor’s hit show, Two and a Half Men, “has always performed well in repeats.”
This is Sheen’s third time checking into rehab, and fans as well as the CBS network executives are very pleased with this attempt to overcome his addictions.
CBS released a statement last week about their views on Sheen’s most recent actions:
“The most important thing right now is that Charlie is seeking help. Any immediate programming or financial implications pale in comparison to his long term health, safety and well-being.”

  1. Why is it that if an ordinary person goes to rehab he's a bum but if a star goes to rehab it's poor Charlie? Big double standard.
